About Mahtab Alizadeh

Mahtab Alizadeh Mahtab Alizadeh was born in 1975 in Tehran, Iran. As a daughter of an experienced painter she started painting from the early days and then did her education in visual art school in Tehran. Her passion for art did not stop there and she continued her higher education in Bachelor and Master of Art at Azad Art University of Tehran.
During all these years she has had several solo and group exhibitions in many prestigious art galleries in Tehran and other cities.
In order to improve her skills and expand her knowledge she decided to leave Iran in 2002 and pursue her carrier in Istanbul, Turkey. For several years until 2011 she worked with many renowned art galleries, artists and art companies in Turkey. Moreover she did a vast number of paintings for private clients and art galleries in many other countries such as Dubai, Israel and England.
Mahtab is familiar with all kinds of styles and medias, however her main focus is on the female figurative works expressing the political and social life of a woman in contemporary Iran.
